Pre-Nups Are Suddenly Seen As Valid Pre-nuptial agreements in Britain won the resounding backing of senior judges today when one of Germany’s richest women secured victory in enforcing her own agreement with her former husband. Lord Justice Thorpe, who was sitting with Lords Justices Rix and Wilson, said that, pending a review of the law by the Law Commission to start later this year, in future similar cases, the judge “should give due weight to the marital property regime into which the parties freely entered”. One of the comments at the end of the piece says it all ... Men have been trying to get pre-nups recognised for years, then a woman comes along with one, and suddenly they're a good idea. Indeed, Lord Justice Thorpe is also the judge who awarded a woman full custody of the children even though it was the man who had been the stay-at-home husband throughout their growing years while the woman worked. He argued that children were always better off with their mothers. In other words, he kyboshed the whole notion of equality in order to deprive the father of the children even though it was he who had been bringing them up. Indeed, 'equality' in the UK means disadvantaging men and boys at every turn, with government officials and judges fudging the laws, corrupting their principles and distorting the meanings of everyday words simply in order to favour women and girls - and they do this so that they, themselves, will be promoted up the ladder. What you can therefore expect to see in the future is, in practice, pre-nups being successfully used to bind men, but not women, when it comes to sorting out the assets. Feeble Sentence For False Rape Accusation A mother-of-two who falsely accused her estranged husband of rape because she wanted him out of her life was jailed for four months today. Alan Sugar Too Sexist For The Lords Sir Alan Sugar is facing searching new questions about his suitability for a peerage after a complaint to sleaze watchdogs. In his letter Lord Oakeshott calls for any decision on Sir Alan’s peerage to be delayed until after an employment tribunal has ruled on the claims by one of his former employees that she was a victim of sexual discrimination and bullying. Hanna Sebright, whose company was taken over by the healthcare arm of Sir Alan’s empire, is seeking £140,000 in compensation for sexual discrimination and constructive unfair dismissal. Aw, poor dear. She didn't cut the mustard. But, as is typical of so many women these days, she fights back with bogus claims concerning her gender. Take note also of the impending treachery of Gordon Brown who seems to be trying to get the voting age reduced to age 16. The idea, once again, is to increase the number of votes likely to come Labour's way - because youngsters (who have to pay for nothing, who are being heavily indoctrinated by government teachers, and who have little experience of the real world) are easily fooled into voting for a party which claims to offer them a great deal but which, in fact, is going to turn them into workhorses and tax them to the hilt. Gordon Brown would debase our democracy even further and give the vote to five year olds if he thought that it would keep him in government. Over and over again, we see that our Labour politicians have no concern whatsoever for our country or for our people. Their Number One priority is to keep themselves in power. Let me also remind you all that some 25 of Southall's professional colleagues and supporters claimed in the Guardian newspaper that Southall (and other child-abuse 'experts') were being continually undermined by activists (including politicians and journalists) who claimed that there was no such thing as child abuse. This is just rubbish. No such groups exist. And so this gives you some indication of just how dishonest are so many of these people. Private Nurseries Under Threat Teachers claimed pre-schools were being ruined by Labour's "nappy curriculum" which is compulsory for all under-fives. This is one of the main techniques used by the Left to destroy private enterprises; viz, by making their legal requirements so complex and so impossible to achieve that those in the private sector cannot afford to continue. Only government-owned agencies can then afford to implement the never-ending flow of regulations. And if those private enterprises do manage to continue in the face of all the difficulties, then those government officials who were responsible for all the impossible regulations get to hire themselves out as 'consultants' to them and command huge fees. After all, they understand those regulations very well indeed, and they also know how to 'work the system'; regulations and systems that they, themselves, created! Clever, eh? Indeed, one of the main reasons why officials in left-wing governments force upon businesses so many regulations is precisely because they stand to make significant personal gains from them; both at the time, and then, later on, when they are looking for further income following their 'retirement'. The police even claimed - falsely - to have discovered the bones of dead children in order to maintain their abuse hysteria so that they could continue funding their empires. "Also Ta for the thanks about not poking fun at your "Common Purpose" posting. I sometimes try to do a little background research before allowing myself the luxuary of poking fun. I found a huge number of websites devoted to "Common Purpose." Some by the organisation, some promoting it from outside by those who've graduated, and others expressing concern about what it stands for. I went through some of thre sites quite carefully. For me the shock was discovering that there are people who've graduated who are personally known to me. I was totally unaware of their involvement in this. Funny thing is it used to be the Masons, not anymore so it seems. Being an old cynical copper of many moons who only believes facts, i read deeper and could see many of the "Common Purpose" philosophies that have crept into day to day police culture. Certainly there is something seriously wrong with the modern UK "police service" and I'm not quacking on about the apparent speeding ticket obsession. It goes way beyond the crippling political correctlness. it often seems to go much deeper than that. Today the police force as a whole would be far more recognisable to Karl Marx than to Sir Robert Peel. We've become so intraverted in our strive to change from within, to become this Marxist PC Flag-Ship, that we've totally lost interest in upholding the law of the land. All you've got to do is look outside your window or read the papers to see the result of this. Example and i may have mentioned this before. Before transfering to my present role within the police, i spent some years being a police trainer teaching the law to spotty faced recruits. The sylibus for recruits during that seven year period that i did this, moved further and further towards the Left and further and further away from practical application of the law. The police training branch used to be known as National Police Training (NPT) which was a proper Police / Home Office organisation and all was fairly okay. Then Nu Labour came along and disbanded NPT and handed over the running of police training to a private organisation called CENTREX. As a police offcier trainer you were now attached to CENTREX. CENTREX had an agenda for sure. It was like working for the Kremlin. Time spent teaching the actual law and how to apply it, was reduced time and time again. All replaced by more and more off the wall subjects based around diversity, much of which had little relevence to day to day police work. I fell out with the whole police training enviroment and voted with my feet and left. What I've described was just the tip of the iceberg. That was lots more besides. The bottom line is, new police recruits upon leaving the training centres and arriving at their first police stations, are utterly unprepared and ill-equipped to do their jobs. They are experts on Islamic religious practices, know all about rhe rights of homosexuals, but they know f*ck all about how to deal with a burglary victim or how to investigate that burglary. They are all certainly very well motivated in informing on their colleagues, as they've been taught to report ANYTHING that they believe to be inappropriate behaviour by other police officers. "Inappropriate behaviour" seems to cover just about anything not laid down as acceptable in the "Polictically Correct Bible." They've even been given a Hotline to make it easier to report the rest of us. Bottom line, add this to performance targets, it's reduced the modern police to a pack of snarling little marxists who are more inclined to inform on an "unacceptable colleague" than they are in catching a thief. They'll only be interested in the thief if he's a guaranteed tick in the box towards this months performance figures. If he's not an easy arrest without a guaranteed "detection" that'll take up little time or effort, they aint interested in the slightest. Hence the number of really silly arrests for minor things you hear about in the press, and the seeming lack of police interest in the serious complicated stuff. Long drawn out investigations don't add up to lots of ticks, unless the victim is a member of a minority group then believe me, their are ticks aplenty and more besides. if you want to recreate something in a new image, you have to break it down back to its foundations and start again. That's pretty much whats happening to us in the police. And look out towards society as a whole. The same thing is happening everywhere. Every instituation that has held society together for generations in being dismantled. Sorry for the ever so lengthy rant. Melanie Phillips In my piece entitled Self Harm, I pointed out that it is now being accepted by official feminist-dominated governmental bodies - such as the UN and the WHO - that nobody should be concerned about the fact that men nowadays live some five years less than women. You can hear Harriet Harman endorsing this highly misandric point of view in - if you can believe it - her interview concerning the new Equality Bill - which can be heard in full here. I quote Ms Harman ... "Although, generally speaking, women live longer than men, we actually have a situation now, where better off men live longer than poorer women ... " ... and she then uses this alleged fact to talk about the need for greater health 'equality' between the rich and the poor. But, notice two things. 1. She makes no attempt to suggest that something should be done to address the fact that women live longer than men. As mentioned on this website numerous times, Harriet Harman's notion of equality has nothing to do with 'equality'. Her aim, as ever, is to ensure that men are discriminated against at every turn. And the fact that men die some five years earlier than women has got nothing to do with 'equality' as far as Harriet Harman is concerned. 2. If you look at her words (above) you will see that she pits "better off men" against "poorer women". She does not address the point that "better off women" live longer than "poorer women" - which is what she should be pointing out if she really was addressing the issue of 'poverty'. And she does this to ensure that her audience is outraged at "better off men" - despite that fact that better off women actually live the longest lives of all. But this latter fact, she does not want to bring to the public's attention. So she does not mention it. And, most glaring of all, she does not mention those who are the most worst off of all - "the poorer men". In summary: The only time that the word 'men' is mentioned is when the men are "better off", and the only time that the word 'women' is mentioned is when the women are "poorer" - even though "better off women" are actually more better off than the "better off men", and even though "poorer men" are actually worse off than "poorer women". Now, all of this is no slip of the tongue. It is not the result of a casual way of addressing the issues. We know this, because Harriet Harman does this sort of thing all the time - unfailingly. Harriet Harman positively hates men, and she knows that she can get female votes by stirring up this hatred. And it is absolutely clear from the way in which she frames her bogus concern for the health of 'the poor' - as per above - that her prime aim is to continually stir up hatred towards men, and that 'equality' has got absolutely nothing to do with anything that she says. Tony Blair Pitches To Become Pope He also spoke about the motivations of insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan, and rejected arguments that British foreign policy has radicalised Muslims. Tony Blair's alleged view that the invasion of Iraq did not help to radicalise Muslims is countered by every intelligence agency in the world, by every terrorist, by just about every Muslim, and by anyone with half a brain. Tony Blair is lying in order to defend himself from the accusation that he helped to make the world a much more dangerous place. And, of course, from the accusation that he killed thousands of people unnecessarily. He also said that he reads the Koran nearly every day. Tony Blair is terrified of being the target of Muslims, and so he is currently desperate to ingratiate himself to as many religious folk as possible in order to protect himself from their aggression. He said the decision to invade Iraq was something he reflected on every day. Why would he do this if he was so confident that he had made the right decisions, eh? The man is a born liar; an "actor and a fake" according to impressionist Rory Bremner. I nearly vomited when I heard him say recently that he had always considered religion to be more important to him than politics. If he really did believe that religion was more important than politics, then why did he spend most of his life as a politician and why did he enter the legal profession as a young man? Clearly, religion just cannot have been more important to him. He is just lying. Furthermore, does a deeply religious man spend most of his time swanning about the world charging hundreds of thousands of pounds for his speeches? - which is what he has been doing for the past year. The e-mails, seen by The Sunday Times, expose how Gordon Brown’s head of strategy and planning wrote to a Labour spin doctor proposing a campaign of unfounded personal slurs against senior Tories. The smears, many of a sexual nature, were planned as part of a strategy to “destabilise” the opposition in the run-up to the general election. Of course, Gordon Brown and his cabinet colleagues deny that they were aware of such dishonourable and disgusting behaviour; but, please, do not believe a word of this. Damian McBride is no different from the rest of them. Our current politicians are utterly corrupt, dishonest, devious, ruthless and totally self-serving - particularly those on the left. Notice also that Damian McBride was quite prepared not only to ruin the political careers of those whom he was going to lie about, he was also quite prepared to ruin their relationships with their spouses, their children, their colleagues and their friends. Hundreds In Hospital Killed By Neglect Appalling standards of care have been exposed at Mid-Staffordshire Hospitals trust, where between 400 and 1,200 more patients died than would be expected in just three years, according to a damning report by the Healthcare Commission. But, of course, no-one will be held responsible for this given that government workers seem to be immune from having to take any responsibility for even their most criminal of actions. In my view, situations such as these should end up in the courtrooms wherein juries can decide who is to blame. Government workers must be made accountable. And, in this particular case, many people should, at the very least, be forced to resign from their jobs. Unless we do this sort of thing, government workers will continue to remain effectively above the law. Each adult Briton has lost on average £17,000 from the property slump and a further £23,000 in the value of shares, held either directly or indirectly though pension plans. So, once again, we see Gordon Brown taking money out of the savings of old people, but particularly out of those old people who did not work for government. And to make matters even worse for them, the government now intends to employ 'quantitative easing' to bolster the money supply - which means inflation further down the line. Those old people who did work for government do not need to worry too much about quantitative easing because the inflation that this gives rise to will not affect them, because their pensions are inflation-proofed. Indeed, the pensions of those people who did not work for government are being slashed horrendously by Gordon Brown while those people who are privileged with government pensions have been barely affected by the current economic crisis. People who work in the private sector get their pensions by accumulating a pot of money over their lifetime's work. This pot is then invested partly in the stock market and partly in relatively safe deposit accounts. And when these people retire, money is taken out of this pot every year in order to provide them with a pension. 1. The stock market crash in recent months has cut most of these pension pots horrendously - with the majority of people losing between 30% and 80% of their value. 2. The slashing of interest rates means that the proportion of money in these pension pots which is in deposit accounts now contributes hardly anything towards any pension. 3. 'Quantitative Easing' means that all the money in these pension pots is now going to be devalued through the inflation that this causes. But the pensions (provided by the taxpayer) to people who did work for government are affected by none of these things. Perhaps the above will help you to understand why, for example, the police are so keen to maintain a war on drugs, so keen to hype up all the domestic violence and abuse hysteria, so keen to be able to access everybody's private communications. Over and over again we see that the police are working for themselves, not for the benefit of the people whom they are supposed to be serving. Ecstasy Should Be Downgraded The body that advises the government on illegal drugs is to recommend ecstasy be downgraded to a Class B drug. But, of course, the government will ignore such advice because, as far as the government is concerned, the more people whom it can criminalise, the better. Governments and various government departments - such as the police - benefit hugely by turning trivial activities into crimes. In my view, taking drugs should be seen as a medical problem, not a crime. And, quite frankly, I am outraged that the government wants to criminalise - and, hence, to damage quite seriously the lives of - so many thousands of our young men and women. Furthermore, by keeping ecstasy in the same offence category as heroin and cocaine, the message being sent out to our youngsters is that heroin and cocaine are no worse than ecstasy - which is surely a very dangerous message to send. Paid For Doing Nothing Across Whitehall more than 4,500 civil servants are now classed as “staff without posts”, effectively being paid while waiting for a job to turn up, costing the taxpayer about £161million a year. Russell Brand has resigned from his job at the BBC, and Jonathan Ross has been suspended from his own job, as a result of the unacceptable behaviour in which they had both engaged. Lesley Douglas who was the BBC controller for the programme has also resigned from her job. All three have apologised for their 'mistakes' and admitted that these mistakes were their own responsibility. What should this tell you about these two politicians, and what does it tell you about those in the Labour Party who keep Harriet Harman and Gordon Brown in high office? After all, these two politicians made mistakes that, amongst other things, killed people. Did they do the 'decent' thing? Did they resign? Did they apologise? No. Did the Labour Party do to them what the BBC has done in connection with holding to account those three people above who made 'comedic mistakes'? No. So what does this tell you? The first thing that this should tell you is that Gordon Brown and Harriet Harman see themselves as untouchable and unaccountable. They do not do the 'decent' thing. And, in my view, this is because, fundamentally, they are not 'decent' people. They believe that they have a right to rule, almost regardless of what they do. They have only one aim, and this is to keep themselves in high office so that they can enjoy all the benefits that come with this. And the only reason that they have not done this is because their own greed and their own self-serving ambitions might be thwarted somewhat if they undermined two of their own politicians. And you people out there who are reading this must wake up to the fact that we are nowadays being governed by a group of people who are only serving themselves and, worse, if you look much more closely at what they are doing, you will discover that, to a very large extent, they are serving themselves by purposely and willfully causing problems to their very own people; e.g. see The Governing Elite.
